DIY in minutes: Dads - get your feet dirty
Submitted by community on Fri, 10/07/2009 - 9:51pm
Are you stuck in doors because of the rain? Here is a simple craft that will bring the sunshine into your home.
* Glue Step by Step instructions 1) Place the paper onto the ground and have your child stand on it. With the pencil, trace both feet onto the red paper. Do this twice so that you have 4 feet total on the red paper. 2) Trace the four feet onto the yellow paper and orange paper also. If you have three children, you could have a color for each child (or use your own or mum's feet ... great fun for the whole family) 3) Next, you and/or your child cut out all 12 paper feet. 4) Have your child take the yellow feet and lay them in a cross pattern with the heels touching and toes pointing out. Then lay the four red feet on top of the yellow in an X pattern with the heels touching and toes pointing out. Finally lay the orange feet on top of the red in an X pattern keeping the same color pattern with the feet: either yellow, orange, red or yellow, red, orange. 5) Using a CD or DVD, trace a circle onto yellow paper and cut the circle out. For the Sunny look, draw a face with sunglasses by using a black marker. 6) Finally, completely cover the back of the circle with glue and lay down on top of the heels in the center. Done - now sing LET THE SUNSHINE IN ... (or not). Enjoy ... - DeeJay If you need more information about this craft, visit www.OneMinuteCrafts.com/PaperSunny.html.
