Fed up with thousands of useless baby gadgets flooding the market these days we've decided to start a new series on DIYFather.com looking at baby gadgets we really ought to have in the 21st century (but nobody has got round to making them yet). So if we get enough support together maybe a manufacturer can be found to make them!

First up - the FLY-STRO (flying stroller)

I can't believe nobody has thought of this yet - it's a very simple concept. Combine a stroller with a hovercraft. Easy.

Wheels are really so last century - imaging how cool it would be. You can master any terrain with a hovercraft stroller and it will even work on water! Pushing the baby along will be absolutely effortless as the fly-stro elegantly glides along. The baby will love it as well as the gentle vibrations of the engine and rotor will soothe her to sleep.
