My 9-month old son has developed a new habit - eating. Apart from eating food he also eats lots of other things ... here's my top 10 list of things he has been trying to eat lately:
* wrapping paper
* his socks
* my dad's pocket calendar
* soap bubbles
* my Birkenstocks
* a USB cable
* a pocket dictionary
* the laptop
* the fridge
And his absolute favourite THE MOBILE PHONE.
The nutritional value of these things is highly questionable and we are having a hard time making sure he doesn't eat too much rubbish as it is. His constant attempts to eat anything and everything reminded me of a line in the 90s hip hop song "Can I kick it?". So I'm now singing to him "can I eat it - no you can't" ...
