I'm at home with my twin 6 month old girls (corrected age 4 months). Looking for a good daily routine. They sleep through the night, but I feel our day routine could be better. Any tips or ideas?

Hi Guys
I've only just picked up on this post - sorry only a year late!
As a stay at home dad to twins with a web site www.twins-store.co.uk we have developed an advice section, lots of hints and tips from other parents of twins.
the crying might be baby or me depending on who is the most tired from the night before
fit in water breaks and nappy changes as needed
busy is a euphemism for the days you care for your babies as they grow
NOTHING is more important for your offspring than dedicated loving and capable care
there is no work that pays (off) so well as the input into your children's learning
give yourself a break to keep up with the demands (daytime rests for parents rock)
remember that fresh raw food is easy and better for your children (and you) than anything manufactured

Hi, I am a first time Dad of twin boys who are nearly two. Suggestions are -
Put both down for naps at the same time. It makes it easier to plan your day and easier to get out and about. With our twins at that age (and even now) we try to go out every day, even if its a walk around the block or coffee with a mate.
Don't stress about a rigid routine, or you'll worry more about the routine then having fun with the twins. Its very hard keeping two little individuals in sync, so just go with the flow.
Try to prepare bottles and food as much as possible before hand. Also Sparc have a great set of booklets with activities for babies through to toddlers.
Are you organising, running or attending any stay-home-dad meetings in your area? We'd like to start a directory of groups per city. Let us know and we will list your group here.

outings in the mornings - then if the sleeps go longer, you aren't tempted to wake them
our days go like this... wake, cuddle, play, eat, clean, play/go out, cry, cuddle, sleep, wake, cuddle, play, clean, eat, clean, play, clean, cuddle, eat, clean, play, cry, clean, eat, bath, cuddle, sleep.
