How to get your kid involved in household chores

household chores How to get your kid involved in household chores

Being a busy dad you can really kill two birds with one stone by getting your kids to help out with household chores: the chore gets done while you do something else AND the kids are busy and entertained! Bonus!

Unloading the dishwasher and especially sorting cuttlery is a fantastic little activity kids can do from an early age (e.g. 3 years and up). You can use this activity to get your kids used to doing their bit in the household but it’s also a great opportunity for them to show off their sorting skills. Most kids love the idea of taking on grown-up tasks and being really useful – tidying up the kitchen presents lots of opportunities to do this.

Enjoy,

Stef
