Infographics

Are you familiar with the concept of infographics? Interesting graphics that illustrate statistics (or a particular issue) in a very effective and impactful way? These days just about any data is available of course so it just takes a few gifted people to bring the data to life. The interesting aspect for parents is that infographics can really help explain something to kids or make them realise what's happening in the world or how their actions affect a certain issue. A great example of that is a site called informationisbeautiful.net - e.g. here is a piece they did on CO2 emissions.
