Man bags – what else will they think of next?

Joanna from SIP Sinot contacted us, giving us the origin of the bags. The bags were designed by a father who simply wanted a better nappy bag for his child, I can understand his frustration with the other ones that are on the market.

I was hooked! Thats just fantastic! When she told me she would send us one each to sample, I thought "that is so nice". I was looking forward to them arriving and when they did arrive, I looked at them and thought "Wow!".

The reason I was interested in receiving a new baby nappy bag was for the shear fact was that our old one was completely useless. It couldn’t hold much and it bulged on the outside and the inside, this made getting a change of clothes, her childwell book, a pre made canister of formula, some nappies, hand steriliser cream, nappy cream, baby wipes, change mat and our thermo bag for a bottle of hot water almost impossible to get in our old bag. (Phew! Well that sounds like a lot, but really when you think about it, it’s not a lot). I absolutely hated my old one but didn’t think it was bad enough to change it to be honest.

The new one as you can see has Two separate pockets at the front (easy access to a favourite toy), a separate pocket on the right hand side (perfect for your cellphone)and another mesh pocket on the left hand side (great for baby bottle or water bottle). The main bag comprises of two easy access zippered pockets to keep things safe and dry and one very large and roomy main compartment. Not to mention it also comes with a change mat! Well that is fantastic! What more do I need? It sits flat on the side of me and doesn’t have the huge bulging effect going on! It fits in all of the things that I require and more! Plus! not only can it be hung over the shoulder but if you remove the shoulder strap it also has two adjustable clips which make it very easy to attach neatly on the stroller.

When the three arrived there was a blue camouflaged, green camouflaged (pictured - very manly!) and also a more neutral grey colour. Manly colours – maybe I’m a little more feminine but I didn’t really like any of the colours, then again as you know “never look a gift horse in the mouth”, so it was simply deciding which was the best of the lot. I went with the storm colour which seems to be fine!

I would say other guys would be more inclined to go with the blue or green camouflaged.

Apart from the colours the bags are fantastic and we would recommend them to anyone.
