Have you heard of "Jenga" (or you might know this game by another name) - check out the following clip and you'll know what I mean: Jenga (or whatever it's called in your neck of the woods) is a simple game in which players remove blocks from a tower and put them on top. It is a great game to play in general - and it's particularly interesting as a drinking game - but anyway, I recently discovered that it's a FANTASTIC game to play with your toddler. Wooden blocks and stacking cups have probably already played a big part in your toddlers life up to now. Jenga takes stacking games a step further and provides excellent opportunities for your little champ to develop his or her fine motor skills and hand/eye co-ordination. It's also a great game for all ages - so the whole family can join in! Definitely try this at home with your toddler - if you don't own this game already (make sure to check the attic) you can buy it in any toy shop or department store (or buy it online if you're really stuck). It's also very easy to make yourself - so if here's your chance if you've been looking for a quick DIY project. Either way - get playing and enjoy! -Stef ps.: The word "Jenga" is apparently derived from kujenga, Swahili for "to build" ... who would have thought!

I completely agree. I got
I completely agree. I got out our old Jenga set and played with my 4 and 6 year old boys. They both did great. I gave them a few tips on spotting easy blocks to pull, but otherwise they had no trouble and we had a blast.
