Never shake a baby

A fantastic awareness ad with an important message - never shake a baby. All over the world babies are admitted to hospital with "Shaken Baby Syndrome". Practically all of these cases are preventable by following this simple rule: never shake a baby. There is a pretty shocking experiment you can do at home to see the effects of shaking on babies' brains. Take a raw egg, crack it open and gently fill it into a jar so that the egg yolk stays in tact. Then start shaking the jar to see how little it takes for the egg yolk to mix with the egg white. That's what's happening to a baby's brain when the baby is shaken. -Stef The campaign "Never shake a baby" was commissioned by the Ministry of Social Development, New Zealand.
