I just came across this poster which was put together by the social enterprise 'Change for our Children' along with a number of parenting organisation and the Ministry of Health. Just a wee reminder for all of us to observe the 3 principles of safe sleep to reduce the risk of SUDI (Sudden Unexpected Death in Infants) or SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) as it used to be called. By following the principles of face up, face clear and a smokefree environment the risk of experiencing SUDI with your child can be reduced dramatically. For more information check out "changeforourchildren.co.nz". -Stef Trackback URL for this post:http://diyfather.com/trackback/1653

I have to agree on this. This
I have to agree on this. This is the right position for infants when they are asleep. There are lots of cases of SUDI reported because of improper child position while take their nap time. This is a great campaign for all parents to watch their child.
