Speaking up for dads: Warwick Pudney

In the news today: "Psychotherapist and lecturer at Auckland University of Technology, Warwick Pudney, has put out a report called 'Fathering Our City'. In it he finds early childhood and infant services have been unconsciously feminised, and are slowing moving towards alienating men". Here is the full story in the NZ Herald.

"Many agencies do not fully understand just how important a father's role is. Men turn away if they feel they are not needed" Dr Pudney says. This is exactly why we have launched DIYFather.com - our Web2.0 version of the work that Dr Pudney has been doing over the years. He was the founding C.E.O. of ManAlive, a first of its kind Men's counselling and social service for males which is pioneering new ways of assisting men, youth and boys to alter behaviour and lifestyles.

Unfortunately we have been unable to obtain the full report - if anybody has it or has read it. Please tell us about it!
